About signing up and getting started selling your content
On inplayer.com/signup you can register through a form. This will create an account that gives you access to the sales platform.
Step 1. Go to the InPlayer sign up page Step 2. Enter your Full Name, Email Address, and chose a Password Step 3. The screen will change and request an Activation code. Step 4. Proceed to your inbox and search for an email with the subject “Welcome to InPlayer!“. Step 5. Use the code to activate your Merchant Account and login with your credentials.
(press resend code if it takes more than 15 minutes to receive an Activation code)
Our basic pricing doesn’t involve any startup fees nor monthly charges so you can sign up and try out the platform without worrying about cost.
The basic level means that we will charge you $0.50 / transaction and take a 10% revenue share. If you expect to sell many tickets you should contact our sales team and they will set your up with a suitable pricing structure.
An asset is your digital treasure! It’s a thing (property) owned by a person (company) and is used to display their premium content in a protected environment. It acts as a paywall protecting the premium content inside. The only way for an end-user to access the content is to make a purchase, after which they bypass the paywall and are presented with the premium content.
To add an asset you either paste the link to your asset when creating it, or you make use of one of our integrations to OVPs to easily get a list of available videos that you can choose from.
This is how:
Step 1: Log into your InPlayer Dashboard. Step 2: Click on the Assets tab and + Add New Step 3: Select the type of asset you wish to add. Step 4: You will be redirected to the settings section of your new asset where you can edit the asset’s name, description and pricing options. Step 5: After you have customized the settings Save the Asset. Step 6: Embed the Asset on your website by clicking on the Get Asset Embed Code button in the upper left-hand corner and paste the code into the content of your website
After embedding the asset successfully you should see the preview you created on your website.
Managing your account and general settings
In order to Login to your Merchant account, proceed to InPlayer`s Dashboard, enter your Email Address and Password and click the Sign in button
In order to reset the password on your Merchant account, please follow the instructions:
Step 1. Proceed to InPlayer Dashboard Step 2. Click on Forgot Password? link Step 3. Enter your Email Address and click Submit, new screen requesting a Token will appear. Step 4.Please check your email address for an email with “Request for a new password for your InPlayer account” subject Step 5. Copy and paste the Token in the form and enter your new password
Once the password reset is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with the “Your InPlayer account Password was successfully changed” subject.
In order to change the password on your Merchant account, please follow the instructions:
Step 1. Proceed to InPlayer Dashboard Step 2. Log in using your credentials Step 3. Click on the account icon on the top right of your window and choose Account -> Password. Step 4. Type in your Old Password Step 5.Type in your New Password and Confirm it once again Step 6. Click Save.
The password change is complete.
InPlayer paywall offers customization, and in fact, we encourage every Merchant to make use of it.
Our product designs are simple enough to allow you make use of images (poster images, logos, and background images) and transform the paywall into unique, self-branded experience for the customers.
How do I Brand the paywall?
Step 1. Sign in to InPlayer Merchant account Step 2. Navigate to the Theme feature, located under Branding section Step 3. Click on the Create New Theme button Step 4. Add a Brand Name by simply typing in your company’s or project`s name Step 5. In the Paywall Configuration section, choose whether InPlayer Protected Label will be part of your Asset Step 6. Upload a Logo image to represent your brand at the top of the paywall Step 7. Inform your customers of the Terms & Conditions Step 8. Once you are happy with the way your new Paywall looks, click on Save.
When the Branding Theme is saved, it will be stored under Themes and you would like to make it default (applicable to all Assets).
In order to offer your customers with a possibility to use Social Login while creating Accounts, please follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Login to your InPlayer Merchant account Step 2. Navigate to Account Settings and select Social Setup Step 3. Once you proceed to the Social Setup section, choose which of the social platforms will be offered
By default, the InPlayer social applications are used for authentication. Optionally, you can specify your own by clicking Setup (Facebook, Twitter, Google).
To connect your Stripe account first, you must request for Stripe Connect. To do so please follow the next few steps:
Step 2: Go to your account settings to the far right.
Step 3: Click on the drop-down arrow, go to Settings and then click Payment Settings.
Step 4: Click on “Connect With Stripe”.
Please note that the InPlayer Rev. Share lowers down in percentage since Stripe’s Rev. Share and fixed fees are paid by the merchant.
Every month, under the conditions described in your agreement, we proceed with an out-payment of your revenue, with the following conditions being met.
The payout is made around the end of each month.
Please note that there’s a $250 threshold. That means that, if you accumulate less than $250 of earnings by the payout date, InPlayer will not make the out-payment. It will be postponed until the total of accumulated amount exceeds $250. For example, if your earnings in January have not reached $250, but in January and February you earned more than $250, we will make the out-payment at the end of March.

To offer discounts to your customers you can set up your own vouchers. A voucher is a promotional code, a series of letters or numbers that customers can add during the payment process to get free or discounted access to your content.
In order to create a Voucher, follow these instructions:
Step 1. Login to your InPlayer Merchant account Step 2. Proceed to Vouchers section Step 3. Click on the + Add New button to create a new Voucher code Step 4. Give your voucher a Name, in the field located at the very top left and define the main settings of the voucher
Step 4.1. ChooseCustom Voucher Code (give the voucher a code-name) or Random Voucher Code(system will generate a random code-name) Step 4.2. Specify the Discount percentand the Discount Period Step 4.3. Set the Voucher Limitationsby setting the Usage limit (how many times voucher will be utilized) and Date range when it will be applicable
Step 5. Once you have finished the voucher creation, click Save
Step 6. The voucher screen will change and you will be able to specify to which Assets/Packages it will be applicable, as well as state the Voucher Access Types(PPV and/or Subscription) Step 7. If you have specific Email Addresses that the voucher code usage could be limited, then add the addresses in the Voucher Emails section.
The Customer will be granted a refund within 72 hours after the refund request was submitted, in case:
The Customer made duplicate purchases using the same email address.
The live streaming was cancelled.
The content wasn’t published by the Client.
More than 80% of the content delivery had streaming issues (no sound, or poor sound & video quality).
The content was misleading – the description didn’t relate to actual content.
The Customer refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment.
In case the Customer is not entirely satisfied with their purchase can submit a refund request. Inplayer Ltd. may contact the Customer for more information and/or the Publisher who will decide if the Customer request is valid for a refund.
Inplayer Ltd. doesn’t refund request based on the personal reasons, that prevented the User from watching/accessing the content after purchasing.
Request for refunds can be made within 72h with the original receipt/invoice copy.
At any time, Inplayer Ltd. reserves the right to refuse a request for a refund.
