June is the month with the longest days in the year, so we decided to spend them wisely and make the most out of them. Having in mind that employees are at the heart of our company, we considered investing in team events as something which makes employees feel valued, builds trust among them and creates fun culture after all. We marked June with three outstanding team events:
InPlayer team event was in Cherry Orchard, a breathtaking place near Skopje. Upon arrival, we were divided into 5 teams and played team Olympics such as: wheel challenge, team skiing, minefield, human pipeline, matchstick puzzles, spider net.
After finishing the sixth game, The Red Team was the happiest to get announced as the winning team and got awarded with medals. Zorana, our account manager, got the award “Best Team Player”.
Of course, the fun didn’t stop here. We finished the day with the most powerful team building exercise – The Karaoke Party. It provided us a great opportunity to present our vocal abilities to the colleagues with a choice of over 30.000 songs, ranging from the ‘50s to the ‘00s – songs of the new Millennium.
The venue was decorated in the style of the party, with accessories (masks, wigs, glasses and other props) to complement us for our musical and dance performances which reflected the style of each musical decade, accordingly.
Imagine fresh air, mountain sun, green pastures, blue sky above you – hypnotizing harmony of colors and sounds. That’s an ideal atmosphere for an active experience in nature which helps everyone put all their everyday obligations behind. Galicnik, a magnificent place at Bistra mountain is just the place where our Pageant Media Team enjoyed their team event.
Galicnik and horses have special relationship with roots in folklore and tradition embedded in the Macedonian culture.
Upon arrival we received all necessary safety information for a horse riding tour. It was entertaining, as some of the team members struggled with maintaining the balance and some couldn’t make their horse start the ride.
After the amusement at the horse riding, we had the opportunity to experience part of the locals’ lifestyle who live in harmony with nature. We were divided into teams and started playing the country team olympics such as: chopping wood, milking goats, chasing sheep to the barn. The Cactus Team was the winning one. After the adrenaline-charged day, our senses were captivated by smells and aromas of traditional recipes and fresh ingredients cooked on an open fire, local products and wine.
From lines of code to tan lines – the motto behind engineers having fun by the pool! Massive Interactive Team was the one pleased to go to a team event by the pool in Kuchkovo. Upon arrival, we were divided into pairs of two and we were taught how to dance salsa and bachata. Thanks to our instructor Metodi we all became salseros and bachateros worth remembering.
After the classes, we all jumped into the pool party! Through playing various water sports, we made memories that will last forever. The Karaoke Party was the inevitable part for a spectacular party end! The power of karaoke created an environment that naturally brought out the best in us: smiles, positive energy, humour, support and teamwork.
All in all, we are an awesome team that rocks! Apart from doing an outstanding job, we have outstanding singing and dancing performances on stage and we love partying together!
