Seattle Symphony presents: Season Opening Reimagined

This year, our season opening concert and celebration is bigger than ever! We begin the season with a celebration of the return of the Seattle Symphony to the Benaroya Hall stage. Tune in from the comfort of your own home with our brand-new streaming service, Seattle Symphony Live, or join us at King County’s Marymoor Park for our first ever drive-in concert screening!

Featuring a special performance by Seattle-based vocalist and guitarist Whitney Mongé with the orchestra led by Associate Conductor Lee Mills, this opening night concert weaves together the drama of Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony; these energetic works bookend Whitney Mongé’s own soulful songs and the soaring, beautiful orchestral suite selection Five Movements in Color: Soul of Remembrance by American composer and pianist Mary D. Watkins.
