GLORY Kickboxing’s first event of 2020 was completed and finalized during GLORY Collision 2, as GLORY 75 will take place on February 29th at the Central Studios in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
As confirmed during the Collision 2 broadcast, Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao defends the GLORY featherweight championship against Serhiy Adamchuk in the main event.
Adamchuk formally secured No. 1 contender’s status by winning a title eliminator against Aleksei Ulianov in the co-main event of GLORY 74 — which took place before GLORY Collision 2.
This will be a rematch of their title fight 10 months ago at GLORY 63 in Houston, Texas, which saw Kiatmookao retain the GLORY title by decision.
Kiatmookao is unbeaten in eight straight fights. He claimed the interim GLORY featherweight title by defeating Kevin VanNostrand at GLORY 55 before becoming the undisputed champion with a win over Robin van Roosmalen at GLORY 59. In addition to retaining the title against Adamchuk, Kiatmookao defended against Anvar Boynazarov at GLORY 67 in July and battled VanNostrand to a draw last month at GLORY 72.
Following his loss to Kiatmookao, Adamchuk suffered a decision loss to VanNostrand at GLORY 67 before defeating Abraham Vidales at GLORY 72 and Ulianov to earn another title shot.
