This year Sportel Monaco – the most influential business convention for sports media industry – is going to be held from 22nd October to 24th October 2018 in Grimaldi Forum, Monaco.
This event showcases a lot of product launches, great presentations from top-level executives and discussions about the future of sports content, new media and technology. Sportel plays a very important role in developing the businesses of the exhibitors present, coming from different niches such as: sporting goods, toys & games, media & advertising industries.
In the manner of previous years, we are happy to announce that InPlayer is attending and actively participating at this year’s event in Monaco.
Working with clients such as Eversport , and GloryKickBoxing, we have learned that people have become interested in streaming live matches as never before.
The following stats are pointing out exactly that:
- Nearly two of five or (37%) of all sports fans say they watch sports streamed online “often,” while nearly three in five orf (57%) fans say they watch sports online in any way at all.
- 82% of live online video ad views are now tied to sports and eSports, according to data presented at an NAB panel called “Now Playing: How Sports and Gaming are Driving Live Streaming.
- Among people who watch more than one sport, nearly half or (49%) said they would pay for a live stream of their favorite sport without a cable subscription.
For what it’s worth, content owners, particularly in the sports space, like to have flexibility when it comes to the distribution, protection and monetization of their digital assets – be that live rights or short form content. InPlayer is driving significant revenues for content owners across a variety of industries providing a set of tools to offer that flexibility.
Sportel conventions are an ideal place for networking and the exchange of ideas and this year’s list of participating companies is quite impressive.
